This presentation looks at the impact of the pandemic on young children and uses what we know about resilience in order to help caregivers support their children’s healthy development despite the condition of the global pandemic.

Audience: parents of young children, teachers working with children to elementary age, others who work with families.

Presented by: Kristen Hennessy, Ph.D, is a licensed psychologist and trauma therapist specializing in the treatment of children with histories of complex trauma. She has worked in Central PA for over the past decade, and speaks locally and internationally on topics regarding the treatment of children with histories of complex trauma.
