Mission Empower is a Community Parent Resource Center (CPRC)

There are nearly 100 Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) and
Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs) in the US and Territories. This network of Parent Centers is centralized through the Hub, known as the Center for Parent Information & Resources.

The CPIR is made possible through funding from the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education. OSEP supports the Parent Center network and the role that Parent Centers play in educating parents and improving outcomes for children with disabilities.

  • Working with families of infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities, birth to 26
  • Helping parents participate effectively in their children’s education and development
  • Partnering with professionals and policy makers to improve outcomes for all children with disabilities
